The choir kind of, errr, egged Chuck on. Okay, so we know he knows it and we asked. :) We all sat there and listened to him finish after church, well, half of us did anyway. The whole service was made of awesome today anyway. We did Handel for the choir piece, sang all eight verses of For All the Saints, and ended with this. Yeah, Kiera had a nerdgasm.
We has no organ but since a) though I don't really ID as pagan anymore I still hang on to some of the beliefs and b) the dress they brought (purple) matched my hair (hella purple) I got drafted by the pagans to help with their part of the service and call a quarter, which was also awesome.
(UU here, the whole service was about Samhain, it was great)
Well, they ARE expensive, that puppy is worth $1 million. (It came from another church that Enid had in the 1980's. It closed after the oil bust because our bishop was being a ... anyway.) It's kind of only worth it if you sing a LOT of organ music. :-P The guy who tuned it last year is also the guy who built it.. and he did a lousy job. We have a *few sour notes. Chuck takes great joy in making sure everyone hears them too so they'll get it fixed. (Lolz) I think it was the sub 0 temps we had last winter.
